AIS published data about Shareholding Companies with Public Capital
The Open Data Albania portal published several research articles in February about Shareholding Companies with Public Capital - the articles contain data about their administration, capital development, annual turnover for the last three years, profit before tax, and liquidation procedures. The Shareholding Companies with Public Capital are important for the economy and public services. Their auditing, control, and monitoring are of a special importance. Along with the research articles, data about these companies were also updated on Open Corporates Albania.
Open Procurement Albania monitors Public Lease Agreements signed by Municipalities
AIS newest project and portal, Open Procurement Albania . for Local Government Units opens data not only about supply, works, and public service contracts, but also information about Public Lease Agreements. The portal gives also information about tender processes like Concessions and Public Private Partnerships. Open Procurement Albania contains data about public procurements in 61 local government units, promoting models of Open Cities, Open Data, and Open Government.
Electoral Financing. AIS vs. SP, DP, and SMI, asking for a Timely Court Trial
AIS continues its court process against the three largest parties, SP, DP, and SMI, trying to force them to provide the public with real-time information about their electoral donations. The case is filed with the Administrative Court of Appeal, which has not yet set a date for a hearing session. The conclusion of the court case before the 2017 elections and a decision to force the parties to respect the law is very important. Therefore, AIS asked the Court to accelerate its Court Trial.
