Please find below an update on Albania’s situation with Covid-19, for the week 07.09.2021 \u2013 12.09.2021, which AIS<\/a>\u00a0\/ Open Data Albania is providing. Find Data and Charts on Covid-19 updated on a daily basis at\u00a0http:\/\/www.open.data.al\/covid-19\/<\/a><\/p>\n

As per the last public statement<\/u>, the number of\u00a0Vaccinated<\/strong>\u00a0in the country is:<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Complete vaccination with 2 doses\u00a0702 833<\/strong>\u00a0Persons<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Vaccination with the First Dose\u00a0895 363<\/strong>\u00a0Persons<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In Percentage, it results that\u00a024.8<\/strong>\u00a0% of the Population is Fully Vaccinated.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In Percentage, it results that\u00a029.7<\/strong>\u00a0% of the Population above 15 years is Fully Vaccinated.<\/p>\n

The Albanian state has so far applied Vaccination with AstraZeneca; Pfizer BioNTech; Sinovac CoronaVac; Gamaleya – Sputnik V. – People Testes 7th<\/sup>\u00a0\u2013 12th<\/sup> September 33 987<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Number of Fatalities for last week, \u00a07th<\/sup>\u00a0\u2013 12th<\/sup> September \u2013\u00a024 <\/strong> ( Increase from same week 7th<\/sup>\u00a0\u2013 12th<\/sup> September of\u00a0 prior year.)<\/a><\/p>\n

– Number of active cases on 12 September 2021 \u00a0– 12 766<\/strong><\/p>\n

-Hospitalized \/Active cases as per 12 September 2021 \u2013\u00a01.37<\/strong>\u00a0% (Increase from prior week)<\/a><\/p>\n

– Total Population of Albania 2 829 741<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

– Population above 15 years\u00a0 2 362 375.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The same week, September 7-12, last year (September 7-12, 2020) there were: 14 deaths, comparing to that for the same week we have 10 more deaths in 2021. ( This year we have an increase from the same week prior year)<\/a><\/p>\n

A total of 930 new cases and 5123 tests for (September 7-12, 2020). (This year we have an increase from the same week prior year)<\/a><\/p>\n

Active on the 12th were 4361 people (September 7-12, 2020). (This year we have an increase from the same week prior year)<\/a><\/p>\n

174 people were hospitalized on the 12th<\/sup> of September 2020.\u00a0 (This year we have an increase from the same week prior year)<\/a><\/p>\n

Fatalities\/Infected Ratio for September 2020 = 14\/930*100=1.5%<\/p>\n

We see that there is generally an ascending trend from last year.<\/p>\n
