Money, Government and Politics<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0project and its activities address issues of abuse, corruption, and conflict of interest in the context of governance and politics in Albania. The program aims at opening data about the wealth of high state officials, expenditures of state institutions, electoral spending and expenditures of the concessionary corporate. Comparison and analysis of such data increases transparency, accountability and public pressure in cases of favoritism, embezzlement of public funds or assets.<\/p>\n

The objective of the Money, Government and Politics<\/strong> Project is to expand the\u00a0Open Data Albania<\/a> and Spending Data Albania<\/a> platform by introducing new data that will empower the Albanian public with information and better decision-making skills.<\/p>\n

Duration of the project: 1 November 2014 – 31 December 2016<\/p>\n
