Those data and tools are part of our new project<strong>\u00a0Money, Government and Politics.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This project and its activities<\/strong>\u00a0intend to address issues of abuse, corruption, and conflict of interest in the context of governance and politics in Albania. The program aims at opening data about the wealth of high state officials; expenditures of state institutions; electoral spending and expenditures of the concessionary companies. Comparison and analysis of such data increases transparency and public pressure in cases of favors in funds or public assets.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>objective<\/strong>\u00a0of the Money; Government and<em>\u00a0<\/em>Politics Project is to expand the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.open.data.al\/en\">Open Data Albania<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/spending.data.al\/en\/\">Spending Data Albania<\/a>\u00a0platform by introducing new data that will empower the Albanian public with information and better decision-making skills.<\/p>\n<p>Project time frame: November 2014 \u2013\u00a030 December 2014.
