The project is financially supported by Sida &#8211; Sweden International Development Cooperation Agency.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; font-weight: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px; font-size: 12px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;\" align=\"left\">Implementation period: March 2021 \u2013 February 2024<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; font-weight: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px; font-size: 12px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;\" align=\"left\">There are two main components of this project: Increased Transparency on taxpayers&#8217; money (public money) under the slogan \u201cWhere Does my Money Go\u201d and Youth Empowerment against Corruption &#8211; Citizen Education, Improving Fact-Checking Models.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; font-weight: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px; font-size: 12px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;\" align=\"left\">The purpose of this project, entitled\u00a0<em>Open Data, Access, and Transparency over sectors exposed to Risk of Corruption,<\/em>\u00a0is to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; font-weight: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px; font-size: 12px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;\" align=\"left\">promote transparency and inform the public, through Open Data (disclosure of data concerning public spending, procurement, contracting, officials\u2019 declaration of assets, as well as information regarding the healthcare sector, State-Owned Companies, and other sectors with high-risk of corruption);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; font-weight: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px; font-size: 12px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;\" align=\"left\">develop monitoring and risk assessment instruments in anti-corruption;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; font-weight: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px; font-size: 12px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;\" align=\"left\">empower youth and increase journalists\u2019 and young activists\u2019 capacities<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; font-weight: normal; text-align: justify; line-height: 20px; font-size: 12px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;\" align=\"left\">The\u00a0<strong><em>beneficiaries<\/em><\/strong> of this project shall be watchdog media or journalists; activists; young professionals directly engaged in accountability and good governance; taxpayers, voters, and citizens profiting off services from the public sector, etc. Overall, the beneficiary line-up includes stakeholders from both, the demand and supply sides of transparency, good governance, and anti-corruption.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AIS is currently implementing the project: Open Data, Access, and Transparency over sectors exposed to Risk of Corruption.
